Katrina Strand

Katrina comes from an experienced background coaching riders of all levels and abilities since 2002.  She spent over a decade racing and riding as a professional mountain bike athlete competing on the international stage at World Cup DH, World Championships DH, EWS and many multi stage events such as the BC Bike Race and Trans-Provence. Katrina is all about collaboration, connection and building strong resilient minds and bodies on and off the bike. 

Thomas Vanderham

Freeride legend is an appropriate description of Thomas Vanderham. His graceful, powerful riding style is one we’d all love to have. And his resume includes a stack of magazine covers, classic film segments and modern bike launches. He continues to push his riding and inspires generations of riders, young and old.

Graham Agassiz

Aggy is a Canadian freeride mountain biker from Kamloops, British Columbia. He travels internationally, and has participated in mountain bike films and competitions. He was the top qualifier at the RedBull Rampage 2014 & 2015. He also began hosting an annual mountain bike competition, Aggy’s Reunion, at the Kamloops Bike Ranch in 2014.

 

 

 

 

Erik Lawrenuk

Eric has an immense passion for riding bikes and spending time outdoors—and he wears that emotion proudly with a permanent ear-to-ear grin. Growing up on Vancouver’s North Shore, Eric witnessed the progression of freeride from a young age, and it’s influenced his entire life. Whether it’s riding hand-built stunts in the woods, sessioning steep dirt jumps, or descending the technically demanding trails of the North Shore, Eric is right at home on two wheels.

Wade Simmons

Wade Simmons is a legendary figure in mountain biking, widely regarded as the “Godfather of Freeride” and the inaugural Red Bull Rampage Champion. He was inducted into the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame in 2010 for his stylish, fluid riding, and continues to star in major film projects today.

 

 

Max Langille

Max Langille, a well-known freeride mountain biker from Calgary, Canada, is a fixture in the sport. He is sponsored by Norco, Title MTB, Goodyear, Ride Concepts, and North Shore Bike Shop. Georgia Astle 

Georgia Astle, a freeride mountain biker from Whistler, B.C., has made a name for herself in the mountain bike world. Her sponsors include Devinci, Shimano, Race Face, Smith, Outdoor Research, and Leatt. Astle has a strong background in racing, having competed in both downhill and enduro, and has had multiple podium finishes in the Canadian National Downhill Championships. Her move to freeride has seen her achieve a silver medal at the inaugural women’s Red Bull Rampage and she has also been a rider at the invite-only women’s freeride event, Red Bull Formation.”

DYLAN FORBES

Originally from St. John’s, Newfoundland, Forbes has been calling Whistler home for almost a decade. With a Crankworx Dirt Diaries win, five Dirt Diaries podiums, and countless video parts, Forbes is a pleasure to watch on a bike—not to mention, he can hit a turn like a bat outta hell. Micayla Gatto

Micayla Gatto, a mountain biker, artist, and musician from the North Shore of Vancouver, has become a well-rounded and influential figure in the cycling community. She is currently sponsored by YT Industries.  Gatto began her career as a World Cup downhill racer, achieving multiple Canadian National wins and podium finishes. She has since transitioned to a focus on freeride and creative storytelling,

Javier started Skiing & Riding Bikes in his hometown of Cercedilla, Madrid, Spain at the age of 3. In 1998 Javier became a professional Skier & Mountain bike, a passion that lead him to the Mecca of outdoor sports, Whistler and ultimately to coaching to share his knowledge and experience.

Jeremy has a massive passion for the outdoors and grew up shredding bikes in Ontario. The riding in B.C. quickly captivated him, and Whistler has been home base ever since. Splitting his time between racing between the tape and working as a seasoned elite coach, Jeremy brings the skills and passion to push the limits.

Stevo O is an SGC original and has managed to keep the wheels turning since day one! over all these years he has become a husband, father, high school teacher all while loving his time at camp and the countless laps of laughs, Schralps and airs with the kids, Adults and Coaches. Hi Im Casey, I came from New Zealand when I was a from, Mountain biking and Skiing became my life and I haven’t turned back! I have done many years of racing World Cup DH, Enduro World Series and Cranworx Festivals Alongside many adventures filming and riding in crazy places.
